As you may wondering what is sublimation Printing exactly ?
Sublimation is the best choice for team uniforms and custom sports apparels. It is a process of transfer dye to a fabric via heat. The images were printed on a special paper placed on garments and heat is applied, which allow the ink to become part of the fabric. This will leave you with a more breathable, soft -hand feel to the fabric. The most important is that the number, letters and graphics on jerseys do not wear off at all!
MORE IN-DEPTH: Sublimation Printing – What is it, and what can it do for you?
We also call it dye-sub, or dye sublimation printing, but no matter what you call it, sublimation printing is a versatile, digital printing method that opens up a world of opportunities to any consumer of decorated goods.
So, what is sublimation? Well, simply put, the process involves printing a design onto a sheet of specialty paper—sublimation paper in this case—and pressing it to a garment with a heat press. Sublimation ink, when heated, turns from a solid to a gas that embeds itself into the polyester fabric. When it cools, it goes back to a solid and becomes a permanent part of the fabric. This means that your transferred design adds no additional layer on top, so there’s no difference in feeling between the printed image and the rest of the fabric. This also means that the transfer is incredibly durable, and under normal conditions, the images you produce will last as long as the product itself.
So, what does all of this mean to you, our customer? There are many benefits to the process:
YAFA SPORTSWEAR, is the EXPERT AT Sublimation Printing
Four needles and six lines also called Flat lock, It is used primarily for performance garments, such as activewear. Unlike overlocking,Flatlocking doesn’t have layers to the underside, the seam is butted together. On a flat lock stitching, there is no seam allowance with layers folding to the underside which means it has fewer layers to chafe. Think of it, If you’re running a marathon, you definitely want tights with a flat lock. An over locked cover stitched seam, while it won’t pull apart, will chafe along your legs and cause bleeding. There’s other uses too; if you’re making apparel for children with sensory challenges, a flat lock seam is more comfortable.
All our Performance apparels come with flat locks to avoid chafing and better athlete performance and reduce irritation. Following pictures showed you the flat lock sewing.
